- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- "1 cup margarine, softened"
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 8 oz. package M&Ms
"Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Into large bowl, measure all ingredients except
M&Ms. With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well blended, occasionally
scraping sides of bowl with rubber spatula. Shape dough into 1"" balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets, 2"" apart. Bake cookies 12 minutes or
until lightly browned. Remove cookie sheets from oven; quickly press 3 or 4 candies
into top of each cookie. Return to oven and bake 3 minutes longer. With pancake
turner, carefully move cookies to wire racks to cool. Store tightly covered and
use within a week. Makes about 7 dozen cookies."
