Oatmeal Takealongs

• "1/2 c margarine, softened"
• 1 c sugar
• 1/4 c molasses
• 1 t vanilla
• 1 t soda
• 1 c oatmeal
• 1 egg
• 2 c flour
• 1 c coconut
• 1/4 t salt

Combine all ingredients in mixer bowl (except oats & coconut). Beat until creamy. Stir in oats & coconut. Drop by rounded T onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake @ 375 degrees for 10-12 min. Frost with vanilla frosting if desired.
